This is going to be a more sobering post. My neighbor who we consider family gave me a book to read, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. I don't know if any of you have read it or seen the movie, but it was probably the most heart wrenching book I have ever read. I have read some sad books that leave you crying, but I learn a lot of uplifting lessons. This one just left me sad. Even after saying all this I would highly recommend it especially with Holocaust Remembrance coming up (since it is about the holocaust). The day to me is worth remembering to keep in my mind how important it is to see past race and religion. I have been reading a lot lately so here are a couple other books I recommend: Star Girl by Jerry Spinelli, The Mourning Dove (I forgot the author's name) and Tuesday's with Morrie.
