Prayers Are Answered!

Last Thursday Shad's mom flew in to give me a break after all that has been going on the last few weeks. Shad went to the airport to pick her up and they got back to our house around 9:30am. We had just sat down to eat breakfast and the phone rang. It was the dermatologist's office. I didn't know if I wanted to answer it. I answered the call and the nurse told me they sent my lab in for a second opinion and......it came back with nothing/clean!! I have been sooo happy. I still have to watch to make sure the mole doesn't come back, but other than that no cancer!!!! Thank you all for all your prayers we know that they have been answered!!!

This weekend was very special. We went up to Boise to see our niece Kylie be baptized. Kylie and two other girls sang, beautifully I might add, My Heavenly Father Loves me and When I am Baptized. I teared up when they sang the lyrics to When I am Baptized:

I like to look for rainbows when ever there is rain
and ponder on the beauty of an earth made clean again.

I want my life to be as clean as Earth right after rain
I want to be the best I can,
and live with God again.

I know when I am baptized my wrongs are washed away,
and I can be forgiven and improve myself each day.

I forget how strong the spirit is at baptisms. It made me think of my brother who is on a mission and how awesome it must be for him to experience baptisms on a regular basis.

It was so nice to see family while we were up in Idaho. Shad's Mom, step dad, brother and Grandma all threw Shad a surprise birthday party complete with a pink cake!! We also went to see our new little niece be blessed in Preston, ID. I will say that I am glad that we are done with all the driving. Brinley can only handle her car seat for so long and I can't say that I blame her. All in all she did really well.
