What a great couple of days we have had. Shad's family came down to our house for Thanksgiving! It is so wonderful to have a place big enough that we can actually have people stay with us and not have to sleep on the couch! Of course I have to have everything as close to perfect as possible. Luckily for me things never go according to plan so I can learn and grow :) I have to say it was a wonderful day. Thanks again for all the family that came and spent this special day with us. At this time in my life these are the things that I am most grateful for that can't be replaced:
-My Family: they are there no matter what. I have a loving husband who I am so grateful is alive and healthy. I love him with all my heart. I also love my daughter Brinley. Heavenly Father couldn't have given anyone more perfect for our family! I am grateful for my Heavenly Father who is by my side always. I love and appreciate my extended family for their love and support. I love that when things are tough they are right there to help and comfort.
-The Gospel: I don't think there is a greater gift than the atonement of Jesus Christ. Shad and I are reading Jesus The Christ right now and what he has given each of us is the supreme gift of eternal life, to have all of our burdens lifted and our hearts healed. He IS the life and light of this world and we love him and are so grateful for his love and gift in our lives. Our Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. He is kind, merciful and loves each of us. I am grateful for the missionaries especially my brother Hyrum.
-Service men and women: They give up themselves literally for the greater good. It is unimaginable to know what they experience on a day to day basis fighting for freedom. We want to thank Sgt. Nicholas Barker for his service and sacrifice.
I could keep going, but I think my "turkey coma" is kicking in:) We are truly grateful for all that we and know it is all from above. We hope you all had a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!
