3 for 3

On Tuesday it was Shad and I's 3 year anniversary. Shad gives me a rose for each year that we have been married. So, this year he gave me three beautiful red roses. For some reason the last two years we have had a really eventful meal on our anniversary. Last year I had metal in my food and Shad didn't get what he ordered. This year we went up to Park City. When we got married we spent our first two nights in Park City so we thought it would be fun to go back up to Park City and eat. We first went to the outlets and found Shad a hat and me a belly band, exciting I know :) We then decided to eat at Adolph's (we should have known not to eat there based on the name). Anyone who knows me knows that I never send food back unless it is really, really bad. We ordered shrimp cocktail which was over $13! When it came out there were four pieces of shrimp. They had brown spots and one of them still had the legs attached. Needless to say we sent it back. I thought it would be safe to order a salad and chicken alfredo. Shad decided to try a steak and potatoes. My salad came out and it was soggy, brown and just plain gross. I ate a few carrots and couldn't eat anymore. We were hoping that dinner would make it all worth it. When the plates came out Shad cut into his "medium" cooked steak to find it bleed all over his plate. His potatoes were instant potatoes that tasted stale. My pasta had two pieces of microwave rubbery chicken. It was the worst dinner I have ever had. We decided to just pay for our meal and leave. They knew without us saying anything that we weren't happy. They didn't charge us some of the food but we still ended up paying $60 plus for our dinner. What a night!!! Shad and I agree that the food was for drunk people who wouldn't even notice how crappy it was. I would have loved to see Chef Ramsey's opinion of the food there.
It was really enjoyable to spend time alone together. We had a lot of fun just the two of us (and the little one inside). Thanks honey for the memorable anniversary!

I have loved being married to Shad for the last 3 years. He is the man of my dreams and I look forward to many more years together!!! Thanks again to Angie,Sami, Jordan, Hunter and the puppies for taking care of Brin for us you guys are awesome!!!
