Wow, I can't believe that Thanksgiving is here and pretty much gone! Christmas is on it's way and I am not ready for it! Shad has had a really bad cold so we just stuck around our house. I didn't get much sleep and didn't have a whole lot of motivation to cook today so we ate at Village Inn for lunch and then we came home and all took a nap...heaven! It was just what I needed to create a thanksgiving feast for dinner!! Of course Shad had to buy a 20+ pound turkey for our small family :) I cooked some rolls, sweet potatoes, funeral potatoes, stuffing and gravy. I didn't have enough ambition to make dessert so I bought it instead. We have had a really nice day just relaxing and spending time together. We do miss our extended family though! I don't think I can even start to make a list of all that we are grateful for. We have been so immensely blessed that words cannot describe how grateful we our especially to our Heavenly Father. We know ALL we have is from him and the atonement of our Savior. There is truly no greater gift in our eyes!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!!
