The last 3 days

Life is interesting on bed rest. I have also come down with a cold so I feel even a little worse. We have been so grateful to wonderful friends, neighbors and family. We have had so many people show love and concern for us. I have had the hardest time accepting help. I am so willing to give, but to receive is a challenge for me.
Each year for Christmas we have a family tradition to go and eat at the Lion House and then see the lights at Temple Square. With my condition we didn't know if we were going to make it this year. We found out they provide wheelchairs so we decided to go. I took my contraction meds with me just in case and we headed out on Wednesday to Salt Lake. We had a yummy dinner and headed out to see the lights. As soon as Shad wheeled me and Brin onto the temple grounds they turned the lights on! It was perfect timing :) Shad said he got a workout pushing his girls around. I believe it! It is amazing how I have taken so much for granted especially walking! It was wonderful to be able to be out of the house and spend time together as a family in such a special place. Brinley couldn't get enough of Jesus. She loved seeing the statue of him. It was pretty touching. I am so grateful for my husband! He is AMAZING!! He has taken Brin, done the shopping, cleaning and still sells cars!
The last few days have been pretty uneventful. Shad was able to get a tool set he has wanted for quite sometime and a tool box. He also found some winter gear he loves! Christmas has come early for our house this year! We will see what happens for Christmas. We usually go shopping for each other on Christmas Eve, but with my condition that isn't going to happen :( Christmas has a new meaning this year, a very special one!
I have another appointment on Monday if I make it that far. I did find out that I am negative for strep b this time so that is really good news. I will update more later!

AAAHHH! I had no idea! Thanks for the invite to your blog. I am so sorry! I went into preterm labor with Carson and was in the hospital for a while. I was high risk with Skylee, but was taking progesterone shots this time around and only had her 10 days early. I sure hope that things pan out for you. The steroid shots are a good thing to be getting.

I will add you in my prayers. I hope all goes well. We're in Utah for another week and a half, so if you need ANYTHING, then please don't hesitate to ask. We'd love to help!
