We had a fun simple Valentine's Day. Shad really wanted to get Brinley a puppy so he took off a few hours from work and we drove to Scipio . Shad knows a guy who lives down there that had puppies (maltese mix) they were selling. They were really cute, but we just couldn't commit to getting one. Brinley loved seeing and playing with them and so did Breckin, but she didn't really miss them or ask for one after we left which works for us. We just aren't dog people and they are indoor dogs. Not our cup of tea :) We didn't do much that day. Brinley helped me make heart shaped sugar cookies the night before and we decorated them. We did some simple decorations and had Thai food for dinner...yum! Brinley even made some teddy bear valentines that turned out really cute!

I remember making sugar cookies with you for Valentine's Day! That seems like a different lifetime....now you are making them with your kids. Time flies!! That is funny that she forgot about wanting a dog after you left. That works, for sure!
