Prayers, Persistence and Preschool

Brinley seems to be doing much better after getting over her cold. She stutters much less than she did a week ago. She has been saying prayers and blessing the food for sometime now, but lately they have been extra cute. The other day we sat down to lunch and I was trying to figure out whether or not she wanted to say the prayer. Finally she decided to say it and in it she asks, "please bless mommy to listen". Hahahaha it was so funny. I couldn't help but laugh. Then tonight at dinner she blessed that her dad wouldn't get in trouble. Usually, that means he, or I, will say a bad word (yes he talks like a farmer or sailor, hehe) and has to go in time out. When Brinley puts him in time out he has to fold his arms for two minutes, she even holds up two fingers when she says it.

We have two very persistent children. I mean that in a good way too. If there is something either one of them want they won't give up until they get it or know that they are going to get in trouble if they don't stop. That is one thing I hope they always hold on to. To never give up on themselves or what they believe. To persersaver when things get tough and not be discouraged.

I can already tell what a difference preschool is making for Brinley. Mainly for her social development. She has grown in the few days she has been going. I can tell she loves it too! I am excited for her and for the progress I hope she continues to make! Here are a few pictures of her first day of preschool.
