Brinely has been wanting to have her ears pierced so she can wear earrings. Shad has been asking me when we should get them done and I have just put it off. Since her hair is having such a rough time coming in I thought it would be a good time to get it done. Shad's mom came to visit after she attended a reunion they held for the town she grew up in. She thought it would be the perfect gift to give Brin for her birthday. We took her to Claire's in the mall. Little Brin was so brave as the lady clicked the earings in her ears. After the first ear she did all she could to hold back the tears. Once the second one was done she just sobbed and sobbed. I don't think she had any idea that it would hurt to get earrings :( Now that it has been a few weeks since the tramautic event Brinster really likes them. It was really hard for her to let us clean and turn them and sometimes it still is. We are just glad she likes them and they haven't yet been infected (knock on wood).

So Cute!!! That breaks my heart that she sobbed after! I remember Brooklyn getting them and the surprised face that she had after. They look so dang cute though! She'll forget about the pain and be glad later. :)
Cute. Sloan hasn't asked for them yet. She's content with the little sticker ones or none at all for now. When she does get them one day, I'm going to ask the piercers if they'll do both ears at the same time (two ladies with a gun each). I'm afraid Sloan wouldn't get through the second piercing if she knew what it felt like.
