I thought I would post some updates about my pregnancy before I have this baby :) I am about 19 weeks along and feeling much better than I did in my first trimester. I still felt very tired. We will do some stuff as a family, but sometimes it is just too much. I felt the baby move around 17 weeks. I was laying on the couch and the baby had hiccups. Since then the kicks have been strong. So strong in fact that Shad felt the baby kick for the first time last night while we were laying in bed. My appetite has come back with a vengeance. I can't seem to feel full no matter how much I eat. There really hasn't been anything that I have been craving. I did eat a lot of pickles a couple weeks ago and I love fresh tomatoes with sea salt. I think that is my favorite thing to eat!! We have posted a poll for those of you who would like to guess the gender. We are going to find out we are having on Shad's b-day in a couple weeks. Since it is his birthday gift he gets to decide if he wants to share it with everyone before the baby comes so stay tuned!!
Speaking of Shad we found out last week that he has type 2 diabetes. He was so tired all the time that he could barely make it out of bed for an hour or two and then have to lay down again. After it went on for a while we decided it was time for him to go get some blood work done. To our relief it is something that can be managed with medicine, diet and exercise. We are so grateful that it wasn't something worse!! He has been on his new diet and meds for about a week and he is back to his old self again. He has been such a wonderful husband since I have still felt sick and tired. Yesterday he cleaned, did dishes and did all the laundry for me!!! I couldn't be more grateful for him and how well he takes care of me.
One last update, I have been called as the Primary President in our ward. I am feeling a little overwhelmed, but at peace. If any of you have any advice please feel free to pass it my way!!!

Wow girl- Primary President!? I didn't think they'd do that to a pregnant lady! I'm sure you'll be great at it though.
I don't know what to guess about the gender of your baby. I was wrong about my gut feelings with both of mine.
Bummer about Shads diabetes. Can he still have his Pepsi?
Hey Girl!
I'm voting for a boy, just because that is the way my babes came!
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy!
