Well, the last few months we have been home bodies to say the least. We released one prisoner last week, Shad's mom. She was let out because of good behavior :) One prisoner had cabin fever so bad that he figured out how to get work leave during the day. The warden who is a little under two feet tall is pretty cute and I don't mind looking at him all day and half the night :) He even lets me leave once a week to get food. The prisoner in the cell across the hall is adorable and keeps things fun around this place.
All in all we are hanging in there, Breckin is gaining weight like crazy. He is 8lbs 9oz as of Friday and 22 inches long. He has struggled the last couple days. I am not sure if it was because the doctor had to fix an adhesion on his circumsions or if it is his reflux. Poor kid has been through a lot in his first month of life. Brinley is growing like a weed. She has started to pray all by herself. It is neat to hear what she wants to pray about. She has to make sure bodies is somewhere in the prayer everytime. She also learned the song, Home on the Range.
We really appreciate Shad's mom for coming and being our slave. We have made it one week without her :) Here are some adventures we had while she was here. Shad decided we needed a sewing machine (that worked). Have I mentioned all the suddle hints for me to be more domestic. Needless to say Grandma sewed a few things for us while she was here including a few shirt dresses for Brinley since she is out growing all of her other dresses. You know who else sewed...That is right, Shad! He is quite good at it too! Shad also decided to move our worn out leather couches to his office and get a new set. He had his mom and I help him lift them out of the house. That was an adventure in and of itself. Here I am just having had a baby and his mom has a bum shoulder from her accident...we are lucky the couches made it out the door and into the trailer. Shad knew that we were done helping and he would have to get a man to help him unload them...phew! It was a miracle she survived her time with us. We sure loved having her and miss her.

Looks like things are getting better for you. That is great! I am glad that you have a sewing machine that works and you have been able to get some sewing done. It was fun for me to get back into it a little bit. That is the first time I have done any sewing for about 5 years. Did the dress that I made for Brinley fit. I never did try it on her while I was out. I am glad to hear that you were able to get some dresses made. COOL! It is great to hear that Shad is taking a shot at sewing also. My brother James liked to sew and Gary does some sewing also. Good thing to learn. Breckin looks healthy and doing better. Brinley is growing up so fast, cute pics. XOXOXOXOXO

I hope you are all getting more sleep and are feeling better. I am so excited to see you next week..take good care & give my babies hugs & kisses from gramma & grammpa..Love your pictures..so adorable!!! xoxoxo
Haha! Love it! I'm so glad that Breckin is doing better. Having a sick baby consumes all of your time and energy. I can't believe all that he has been through. Hopefully this next few weeks and months will be even smoother for all of you. :) What beautiful kids!
