Usually I am the holiday queen, but this year I'm a little burned out...I mustered up some ambition to make some yummy cupcakes with green frosting. I whipped the batter up while the kiddos were sleeping and popped them in the oven. Lately, my oven doesn't like to bake well. The element has started acting up. For instance the middle of my cakes sink in because they don't cook all the way or the cookies in the middle of the baking sheet are too soft and gooey, ect...you get the idea. So, I thought I could get cupcakes to work. Well they flopped literally. After trying one last time to make a green St.. Paddy 's day treat we ended up with banana bread and Cafe Rio...YUM! Brinley came with me to pick up dinner. I decided to stop by this little clothing store to see if they had some shoes I wanted. I have decided to try out those new flats...but, I can't bring myself to wear skinny jeans. I laugh when I see people dressed like we are back in the 80's and 90's. I just can't do it. Anyway, we walked into the store and Brin ran up to the clothing racks saying, "ah so cute". She did that to every piece of clothing or pair shoes she saw while we were there! The store owner and associate thought she was so funny and cute...I have to agree!
Here is a picture of Brin's toenails painted for the first time...it took some convincing at first, but now she loves it!
