8 months and 37 months

Our little guy has changed in many ways in the last month and especially in the last two weeks. Since we took him off his medication he has made leaps and bounds. Sleep, oh wonderful sleep! He has actually been napping on his own! This hasn't happened since we first brought him home. It is wonderful to see him act like a normal baby. We are still hoping his nights will improve. He is up twice a night and is up off and on from 5 am to 7 am. A lot of how he sleeps at night depends on what he eats. Right now if he eats anything but sguash, sweet potatoes or carrots he is up all night so he is limited to those three foods for now :( Our little tike is very close to crawling! It is dangerous to leave him in his bumbo or car seat (unbuckled). He can get out of them in about two seconds...yikes! He is crazy fast in his walker and runs it like a pro. He has knocked Brinley flat on her bum. She hates it when he gets too close to her :) He also has a very good memory of what drawers in the kitchen have what. We love this little guy more than we can say!

Our sweet girl is growing up! She is so sweet, kind and bossy :) I wonder what she will be when she grows up? She is always so worried and concerned when someone gets hurt or has an "ouwee". She is consumed by their well being until she is rest assured they are okay! Maybe she will be a nurse or a doctor. She loves her dance class! Poor girl has about as much coordination as her mom. She can sing all the songs like a pro, but struggles with paying attention and some of the moves! I am so proud of her though. She has too many songs memorized to count! She is such a big helper. Lately, she loves to help me scrub the dishes. She has quite an imagination when it comes to playing with her princess dolls. It is fun to hear the stories she makes up. Poor thing is still terrified of the toliet. She wanted to wear panties, but the minute I put her on the toilet to go she flipped! She know what to do she just doesn't want to go on the potty :( I am really hoping and praying that she will be able to overcome her fear so she can be potty trained!
